Holynoodles, Tartare, and Lorthamere on Heroic Venomous Abyss: Nek'zali, the Coiled Altar kill, and 14 Ula'tek pulls (best 30%). Built from Warcraft Logs and the patch 12.1 Icy Veins guides.
Tartare closed most of the gap. Last week Holynoodles did about 60% more damage than him. Tonight it was about 20%.
Average DPS over each player's own clean pulls, meaning pulls where they were alive for at least 85% of the fight or until the raid wiped. Pulls under a minute are left out. That's 52 minutes for Holynoodles, 43 for Tartare, and 26 for Lorthamere, who left after pull 16.

- RotationAbout 4 more Holy Power spenders per minute. You're at 20.9 per minute against Holynoodles' 25.4. The gap now comes from Divine Purpose procs and Divine Storm on two or more targets.
- GearSwap your weapon enchant to Rite of the Hash'ey. You still have Arcane Mastery. You also have six pieces at item level 308. Start with your tier shoulders, Aqirbane Reliquary, and Fiber of Living Agony.
Holynoodles

Holynoodles led the three Rets on every pull he was in except pull 10, where Lorthamere edged him. On pull 23, the best Ula'tek attempt at 30%, he did 230k, his best number of the night.

Tartare's damage now has the same shape as Holynoodles'. Divine Arbiter went from nothing to his third-biggest source. Lorthamere's breakdown differs because he plays Templar.

Holynoodles still gets about 4½ more spenders a minute than Tartare. Most of that comes from Divine Purpose, which gives free spenders: 372 procs for Holynoodles against 251 for Tartare, over similar time. Holynoodles has 5 tier pieces to Tartare's 4, and higher item level, both of which help.
Divine Storm targets
Every Divine Storm, sorted by how many enemies it hit.
This is a big improvement for Tartare. Last week 164 of his Storms should have been Final Verdicts. Tonight both of you cast fewer single-target Storms than you got Divine Purpose procs, so they fit the guide's one-Storm-after-each-free-spender tier weave. The remaining gap is on multiple targets: on the Coiled Altar kill, Holynoodles hit two or more enemies with 76 Storms and Tartare with 42.

Holynoodles only died early once all night. On Caustic Waves, Icy Veins says to watch which wing Ula'tek pulls back and move to the opposite side, then expect the next cast from the other direction.
